Market cap & size classes

What it is: share price × share count = the whole company's price tag. Share PRICE alone means nothing — a $5 stock can be a bigger company than a $500 one.
The classes: mega (>$200B) · large ($10-200B) · mid ($2-10B) · small (<$2B)
Why size is a strategy choice:
• Mega caps: stability, liquidity — but 30 analysts cover them; edges are tiny
• Small caps: barely researched — this is where scanners find real mispricings (it's why our tools scan the S&P 600 and Russell 2000)
• Small caps also fall harder in panics — size your positions accordingly
